Keep the Key

• Keys will be distributed to eligible guests from July 15 through August 31, 2026, while supplies last.
• Keys may be redeemed from September 1 through September 30, 2026, during a qualifying game reservation.

• Each paid game reservation during the Promotion Period will receive one (1) promotional key per group, per game played.
• Promotional keys have no cash value and may not be sold, exchanged, or redeemed for cash.
• Lost, stolen, damaged, duplicated, or altered keys cannot be replaced.

To participate in the Keep the Key Treasure Chest event, you must:

1. Bring your original promotional key during the month of September.
2. Play any regularly scheduled Defy Escapes escape room using either regular or discounted admission.
3. Present your promotional key before your game begins.

Promotional keys from previous Keep the Key promotion periods remain eligible for redemption, provided the original key and its original Defy Escapes identification tag remain attached, intact, and unaltered.

Your promotional key will unlock the Keep the Key Treasure Chest, allowing your group to select one (1) prize scroll. Only one (1) prize scroll may be selected for each qualifying promotional key redeemed. The original promotional key must be surrendered to Defy Escapes upon redemption. All redeemed keys become the property of Defy Escapes and may not be reused.

The Keep the Key Treasure Chest contains 100 prize scrolls that were randomly placed into the treasure chest before the promotion began. Prize distribution consists of:

Once a prize scroll has been selected, the prize listed on that scroll will be awarded. Following each drawing, the prize scroll will be returned to its designated location within the treasure chest so that every participant has the same probability of drawing each prize scroll throughout the promotion.

The Lifetime Membership Pass scroll will remain in play until three (3) Lifetime Membership Passes have been awarded. After the third Lifetime Membership Pass has been awarded, the Lifetime Membership Pass scroll will be permanently removed from the treasure chest and will no longer be eligible to be drawn.

Defy Escapes will announce Lifetime Membership Pass winners on its website and social media channels. The Official Rules and/or the promotion webpage will also indicate whether any Lifetime Membership Passes remain available during the promotion.

The Lifetime Membership Pass entitles the named recipient to one (1) complimentary admission for themselves to any standard Defy Escapes escape room experience for life. The Lifetime Membership Pass is subject to the following conditions:

• The pass provides one (1) complimentary admission per booking for the named passholder only.
• The passholder must be physically present and participate in the game.
• The passholder must present a valid government-issued photo ID upon arrival.
• The name on the photo ID must match the Official Lifetime Membership Registry maintained by Defy Escapes.
• The physical Lifetime Membership card is commemorative in nature and serves only as a reminder of membership. Ownership of a Lifetime Membership is determined solely by the Official Lifetime Membership Registry maintained by Defy Escapes.
• At the time a Lifetime Membership Pass is awarded, the winner may designate themselves or another individual as the Lifetime Membership recipient. If the prize is intended as a gift, the winner must provide the recipient's full legal name before the recipient is entered into the Official Lifetime Membership Registry. Once a recipient has been entered into the Official Lifetime Membership Registry, the membership becomes permanently assigned to that individual and may not be transferred, assigned, sold, gifted, inherited, exchanged, or otherwise changed, except to reflect a legal name change supported by appropriate legal documentation.
• Recipients under eighteen (18) years of age may receive a Lifetime Membership Pass. A parent or legal guardian must provide identification information when the membership is issued. One or more parents or legal guardians may be associated with the minor's membership record and may be added or removed while the recipient remains a minor. A listed parent or legal guardian must be present whenever the minor redeems the membership to verify the recipient's identity. The accompanying parent or legal guardian is not required to purchase admission. Once the recipient reaches eighteen (18) years of age and presents valid government-issued identification, all parent or guardian associations will be removed, and the recipient will thereafter verify their own identity.
• The Lifetime Membership Pass excludes private events, private buyouts, tournaments, merchandise, gift cards, taxes, fees, and any products or services not specifically identified as standard escape room admission. Defy Escapes may, at its sole discretion, choose to honor the Lifetime Membership Pass for special events, promotions, or other offerings. Any such exception is voluntary, applies only to that specific event or promotion, and does not establish any continuing right to redeem the Lifetime Membership Pass for future events or promotions.
• Lost, stolen, or damaged Lifetime Membership cards may be replaced at Defy Escapes' discretion following identity verification. A replacement fee may apply.

Opening the Keep the Key Treasure Chest and revealing prize scrolls may be photographed or recorded for promotional, advertising, marketing, or social media purposes. Participants who prefer not to appear in photographs or video recordings may notify a Defy Escapes team member before opening the treasure chest. Defy Escapes will make reasonable efforts to honor such requests.

Participants under eighteen (18) years of age may draw a prize scroll. However, a parent or legal guardian who is at least eighteen (18) years of age must be present and provide permission before any photographs or video recordings featuring the minor are captured or used.

• One (1) promotional key may be redeemed per qualifying game reservation.
• Multiple promotional keys may be redeemed by the same guest, provided each key is redeemed during a separate qualifying paid game reservation.
• Promotional keys may not be duplicated, copied, reproduced, altered, or modified in any way. Any counterfeit or altered key is void.
• Defy Escapes reserves the right to verify the authenticity of any promotional key before redemption.
• Any attempt to duplicate, counterfeit, alter, tamper with, or otherwise fraudulently obtain or redeem promotional keys, prize scrolls, or Lifetime Membership Passes may result in immediate disqualification from this promotion and future Defy Escapes promotions.
• Prizes are not redeemable for cash and may not be exchanged except at the sole discretion of Defy Escapes.
• Gift cards are subject to Defy Escapes' standard Gift Card Terms and Conditions.
• Defy Escapes reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.
• Defy Escapes reserves the right to disqualify any participant attempting to tamper with, manipulate, or abuse the promotion.
• Defy Escapes reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this promotion if fraud, technical failures, acts of God, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control compromise the integrity of the promotion.
• Participation in the Keep the Key Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Official Rules.
